Dog Park: Pittwater Dog Friendly Parks on Sydney Northern Beaches

Local Councils are working with locals to ensure  there are exercise areas for dog owners to be able to take their dogs off leash.  Dog agility parks allow dogs to roam free, under the supervision of their owners, to exercise and run off their excess energy.

Dogs need areas that they can roam free and that’s why it’s so important to have off leash dog parks in the local communities for dog owners to enjoy time with their pets.. who are an important part of family life.

Although these areas have been allocated as dog friendly parks there are prohibited areas such as playgrounds and bbq areas near these parks where your pet dog is not allowed to roam.

Thankfully Councils have included dog litter bins near the entrance to these dog friendly parks.  Responsible dog owners do use these but of course you always get some owners who disregard these regulations. Non compliance of the Companion Animals Act 1998 Maximum fines exceed $500.

Are you wondering if there’s a Dogs park in your local community?  Here’s a list of Pittwater Dog Parks to help you enjoy the company of your best mate… your dog.
